Orad StereoGraphics, 3D graphics without headaches

Orad now has a solution specially designed so that in stereographic broadcasts neither the graphic designer when generating the stereo graphics nor the viewer has a headache due to desynchronization errors.

Despite the widespread use of stereography, tackling projects in 3D is always a bit of a headache. Now, Orad aims with its new StereoGraphics system to prevent the graphic designer from losing his mind when integrating the different elements and the viewer from ending up with a headache due to problems derived from desynchronization.

With this new stereographic solution, 3D graphics are rendered in real time and displayed on top of the stereoscopic image. The solution allows content such as video files, data and textures to be updated in real time, controls the depth dimension of graphics, and provides full control of stereoscopy parameters such as interaxial (eye spreader) and convergence.

To avoid desynchronization issues, all graphics are rendered by a single, powerful Orad HDVG system, which produces 3G HD (1080P) signal. The solution supports all commonly used stereo formats, including side by side, independent L/R, checkboard and others. When the solution has been designed, special care has been taken to take advantage of existing graphics workflows, so the graphics that are now produced in stereoscopy are transparent to the user.

For example, when designing a stereoscopic graphics scene with Orad 3Designer authoring software, the designer continues using the same familiar application and can view the stereo preview on his or her desktop. Additionally, all stereo parameters are exposed to the operator, who can modify them in real time, without having to return to the design stage.
