Orad will exhibit at IBC its latest solutions for MAM and sports, as well as new options in its video servers.

Orad PlayMaker

Run has expanded its line of video servers to include slow motion, production and playout solutions, with the goal of increasing productivity and reducing operational costs.

The Blend file-based solution is thus emerging as a channel-in-a-box solution that offers HD/SD for video playout along with real-time 3D graphics.

For its part, PlayMaker, Orad's next-generation sports replay server, offers up to eight high-quality I/O channels for ingest in various video formats, synchronized with slow-motion replay and powerful editing tools, much easier. AT IBC we'll be able to see it in action in a workflow dedicated to multi-playback and highlight editing of multiple input feeds, along with FlexFX, which enables real-time video effects and 3D graphics transitions for sports highlights.

As for Orad's VJ production server, it offers a tapeless workflow, from ingest to playout. New features of this solution include the addition of metadata for each clip and TimeControl, a 24/7 plugin to automatically schedule recordings and playouts.

Graphic solutions

In graphic solutions for broadcast, at IBC Orad will show Maestro, intended for graphics for studio and news production. Maestro integrates with the most used NLEs in writing and studio automation systems, offering an integrated graphics solution.

New to Amsterdam, Orad will showcase the Social Media Hub solution. A social media hub that retrieves data from social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, filters it and presents it on air. At the same time, using social media, graphic elements can be displayed on social TV, creating a two-way communication channel.

Meanwhile, TD Control, Orad's next generation of studio automation, consolidates diverse content such as video inputs, clips, sophisticated graphics and data to any video box or panel at the touch of a button.

Interact, Ora's solution that allows presenters to control graphic content directly on touch screens, video panels and other input devices, will feature interaction with live web content within interactive graphics at IBC.

The PowerWall system for video panels based on the HDVG4 platform will also be shown. Delivers up to 16K resolution output from a single system in one rack unit.

Finally, the iFind solution, which will also be shown at IBC, is intended for nacgeador-based workflow management, being scalable for all assets (video, audio, graphics...) anywhere. Modules with new configurations and flow management put customers in control, making it easier to configure and manage users, metadata sets and workflows.
