The Governing Council of the Junta de Andalucía agrees to reserve for the RTVA the regional coverage channel that Corasa has left.

Canal Sur RTVAThe Governing Council of the Junta de Andalucía has agreed to reserve to the Public Business and Television Business Agency of Andalusia the program that has left the company Radiophonic Communication Corasa (linked to haste) that was awarded in 2007 and that was resolved by mutual agreement. This decision is adopted since the RTVA requested in the past framework with greater spectrum capacity in order to develop new services such as high definition. Now, after one of the two autonomous scope and private exploitation has been free, the Governing Council has chosen to reserve this space to the Andalusian public radio that already has digital with the signals of Canal Sur 1 and 2 throughout the community.

After this space reserve, the Andalusian map of the DTT with regional coverage is in the hands of the RTVA (three channels) and vocento through Avista Televisión de Andalucía (a channel awarded in 2007 without starting emissions yet). The second regional multiplex, already has two winners (Editorial Prensa Alicantina, editor of the opinion of Malaga, and the Joly Group, still being awarded two.
