Kronomav exhibits its new 3D rig at CES in Las Vegas
The Kronomav rig is the only one on the market that is completely robotic and controls zoom, focus, iris, convergence and separation between the cameras remotely. Furthermore, the 3D recording system combines a robotic artificial vision system that allows the result to be visualized in real time and, on the other hand, an online post-production system that allows all defects inherent to this type of production to be corrected (aberrations, colorimetry differences, convergence problems, etc.) at the same time as filming.
Darío Ginestar, commercial director, and Pablo Lillo, equipment designer, will be at the Kronomav stand at the Las Vengas Convention Center serving all those people interested in knowing more about the company and its new 3D rig model.
According to Darío Ginestar, “thanks to the commotion created by Avatar, the audiovisual market sees 3D as something real, feasible and close in the immediate future" and affirms that "the Kronomav rig will help make 3D technology of the best quality and that future be closer." Finally, Pablo Lillo clarifies "the CES is a key fair for the world market to marvel at the Kronomav rig, the only fully robotic rig that controls zoom, focus, iris, convergence and separation between the cameras remote controlled
A total of 2,900 companies are exhibiting more than 20,000 cutting-edge products and technological innovation at CES 2010. An average attendance of 150,000 people is expected during the four days that the event lasts.
History
Kronomav emerged in 2006 as a result of the merger between Kronotec and Publimav. Two companies with more than 15 years of experience in the audiovisual world with two clearly differentiated perspectives: technological and commercial. Kronomav is a pioneer company in the manufacture of robotic systems and a benchmark as a supplier in the development and marketing of specialized equipment for the European audiovisual sector. It specializes in offering personalized solutions to its clients thanks to the versatility that being a manufacturer allows, as well as its clear commitment to R&D within the sector, such as the development of systems designed to capture the evolution of meteorological phenomena, among others.
