A technically impeccable ceremony

The production of the XXIV Goya Awards gala, directed by Andreu Buenafuente with Beatriz de la Gándara as executive producer, could be described as impeccable. The technology of Next Limit, Zinkia, and Molinare have helped make this installment an agile television show produced by Televisión Española under the direction of José María Sánchez.

An imposing set designed by Juan Ramón Martín and illuminated by José Luis Rodelas has been the setting for a ceremony of the XXIV Goya Awards in which for the first time it was presented since its initial conception as a television show... and on this occasion, without advertising. The gala, directed by Andreu Buenafuente and Rosa Olucha, was executive produced by Beatriz de la Gándara and production directed by Pilar Robla.

Pep Bras, Tomás Fuentes, Roger Rubio, Julia Clot and Eva Merseguer have been in charge of conceiving a fresh and well-woven script that, despite its technical complexity, has come out perfectly. And on this occasion, Next Limit has collaborated in the production to recreate, with its fluid simulation solution, a flood on the stage of the Madrid Municipal Congress Palace. For her part, Zinkia, under the direction of Hugo Hors' motion graphics, animated her popular character Pocoyó to interact with Andreu Buenafuente at one point during the ceremony.

Por lo que al grafismo de las piezas finalistas se refiere, Molinare ha llevado a cabo un exquisito trabajo de cuyo montaje se ha encargado Rafa Medrano, participando en la composición David Burton, Océano Mateos y Luis Guerra. El grafismo ha sido obra de Fátima Montes y Rafael Aguirre con Ricardo de Diego al frente de las mezclas.

Una de las piezas emitidas durante la gala ha sido todo un corto titulado Engoyados, realizado por el propio Buenafuente, y en el que han participado innumerables actores, actrices, directores… La postproducción se ha llevado también a cabo en Molinare, encargándose del montaje Ernesto de Nova, de la composión, David Burton, y del color Carlos Zulueta.

La retransmisión de la gala por parte de TVE ha estado bajo producción de Carlos Mochales y Carmen Marín, encargándose de la realización José María Sánchez.
