Nevion at the Oscars ceremony
Ventura Video Transport Solutions connected the mobile units outside the Kodak Theater via the local network and across the country for live streaming.
For the seventh consecutive year Nevion deployed its video transport solutions at the 84th Oscars from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
To broadcast the Academy Awards live to approximately one billion viewers around the world, ABC turned to Nevion solutions.
Ventura Video Transport Solutions connected the mobile units outside the Kodak Theater via the local network and across the country for live streaming. It has also been used to transport TCP/IP video traffic over 270Mbps/1.485Gbps video circuits from the auditorium to ABC's broadcast center in Los Angeles.
