Produced by Zeppelin TV, and with a total fusion of television with new technologies, 'The Frame' will be broadcast starting next season on Antena 3 and antena3.com and is in line with the network's multiplatform 3.0 concept.

Antena 3 will be the first television in the world to launch the production of The Frame, a revolutionary format belonging to the reality television genre. Produced by Zeppelin TV, it will be broadcast weekly in the network's prime time, which will also have a daily strip, and 24 hours a day on antenna3.com.

With an original format from Armoza Formats, this program is a pioneer in the so-called next-generation reality shows and is in line with Antena 3's 3.0 television concept.

And it is precisely this fusion of television with new technologies that is one of the main novelties and attractions of The Frame the most demanded format in the latest TV markets: the program has already been acquired by television stations in Greece, France, Austria, Germany (in production, in the first four), Italy, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Hungary, Denmark and Finland, among others.

The program

The eight couples competing in The Frame They will be able to freely choose the person they will live with during the contest: wife, husband, partner, boyfriend/girlfriend, friend, brother/sister, son/daughter,…, or even a stranger. Also, the space in your house that you prefer to live in during the contest, from which you will not be able to leave, and the household objects that you consider essential. The spaces that the eight couples choose from their homes will be moved and faithfully reproduced in the same building other than the one in which they usually live.

Couples will not be able to leave the chosen 20 square meters, nor receive any visitors. Visual signals will mark this small living space, delimited by a photoelectric cell security system that will automatically trigger an alarm if they cross the marked limits. But they will have a maximum of 40 minutes a day that will be distributed to leave the space individually. If both members do it at the same time, they will be expelled from the contest.

The audience decides

Each home in the building will have its own television signal, so that the eight couples will be exposed to viewers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They will play a fundamental role in The Frame because the three least visited couples on the chain's website will be the three nominated to leave the contest.

The three couples candidates to leave space will face each other in a live test at the weekly Antena 3 gala: the winners will be saved. Next, and also live, the phones will be opened to decide the expulsion between the remaining two. The final decision will be in the hands of Antena 3 viewers.

In The Frame, participants will only have one window to the outside: a plasma screen that will be the only element to communicate with the rest of the world. Through it they will be able to see, hear and interact with the rest of the contestants or people outside the space, but only when decided by the program management.

It will also serve to see the opponents they will face in the two challenges that the contest will pose each day. The winning or losing couples in the tests will receive benefits or punishments that will directly improve or worsen the quality of their daily life in The Frame.
