3ality Digital, a world-renowned company in advanced technologies for stereoscopic production, will unveil at IBC 2010 the TS-5 solution, a fully automated splitter rig that remotely aligns parameters using wireless cameras.
The device only weighs 10 kg, but has the same capabilities as the rest of 3ality Digital rigs, including motorized precision adjustment of the wheelbase and toe-in, under a single software control that guarantees a fast and precise set of setups, ensuring that the camera alignments are in the exact position and with the same zoom.
Along with the new TS-5, 3ality Digital will also exhibit the TS-2 (splitter) and TS-4 (side-by-side) rig at IBC. Both are currently widely used by major film and television companies around the world, guaranteeing total precision in the perfect alignment of the cameras as a fundamental condition for achieving attractive and immersive content.
3ality Digital stereoscopic rigs are used together with the stereo image processors developed by the company: the SIP-2100 for a single camera, and the SIP 2900, which can control up to eight cameras with the same electronic base. Both models offer all the functionality necessary for 3D, allowing the camera operator to adjust alignment tracking and target synchronization; The stereographer can monitor and optimize the stereoscopic experience and the video engineer can match aspects such as color correction between cameras.
Some of 3ality's social media can be seen in addition to its stand at the RAI Center, in the spaces of its strategic partners, Grass Valley and Ikegami.
