3ality Digital advances with new tools that facilitate 3D

3ality will attend NAB 2011 to present the latest advances in its tools to achieve simpler and more efficient stereoscopic acquisition. Among these solutions, IntelleCal and IntelleCam stand out, as part of the 3space suite.

3ality will attend NAB 2011 to present the latest advances in its tools to achieve simpler and more efficient stereoscopic acquisition. Among these solutions, IntelleCal and IntelleCam stand out, as part of the 3space suite.

IntelleCal automatically aligns the rig's two cameras with the push of a button, allowing for quick and accurate setup without the intervention of a technician. To do this, the system takes five axes as a reference across the entire zoom range in terms of the profile and correspondence of the lenses.

IntelleCam, for its part, automatically controls the convergence and interaxial space of the chambers without the need for a convergence extractor in each chamber separately, reducing personnel and the cost of this type of operation.

Both solutions are integrated into 3space products and are used in conjunction with the 3ality processing unit and S3D rigs.
