Grass Valley announces Edius 7.3 with new tools

The new version incorporates new tools aimed at improving productivity throughout the entire post-production flow, including I/O support for Matrox MXO2 LE, MXO2 Rack, Mojito MAX and MXO2 Mini.

EDIUS Pro 7.3

Grass Valley has announced version 7.3 of its popular Edius Pro and Elite editing software. The new version incorporates new tools aimed at improving productivity throughout the entire post-production flow, including I/O support for Matrox MXO2 LE, MXO2 Rack, Mojito MAX and MXO2 Mini.

Among other features, users will have multi-channel monitoring for clip preview, export to Sony XAVC format, support for low bit rate audio with MP4 output, AAF exchange with DaVinci Resolve and audio monitoring with third-party I/O hardware.

Compatibility with Matrox devices will exponentially increase the possibilities of the new Edius. Being able to connect any PC or laptop via PCIe or ExpressCard/34 to a Matrox MXO2 device, for example, will bring great advantages.
