Techex incorporates Edius from Grass Valley into its portfolio

Edius editing software joins Techex's portfolio of professional video solutions. The Grass Valley Edius family offers real-time editing of all the most popular SD and HD (high definition) video formats, including Canopus HQ, Canopus Lossless, Infinity JPEG 2000, DV, DVCAM, HDV, AVCHD, MPEG-2, AVC-Intra, and uncompressed video.

Techex, has announced its new distribution agreement for Grass Valley's Edius family of non-linear editing software. For more than 50 years, Grass Valley has been, and continues to be, at the forefront of on-air system innovation, creating some of the most successful products and services on the market. With thousands of patents covering the most fundamental technologies in the industry, Grass Valley offers a wide range of solutions that meet the needs of broadcasters, network operators, TV production companies, and professional video users, a sector where the NLE Edius family of systems is aimed, among others.

The Grass Valley Edius family offers real-time editing of all the most popular SD and HD (high definition) video formats, including Canopus HQ, Canopus Lossless, Infinity JPEG 2000, DV, DVCAM, HDV, AVCHD, MPEG-2, AVC-Intra, and uncompressed video.

Edius non-linear editing software is designed for any broadcast and post-production environment, especially those with tapeless and newer video recording and storage formats.
