Endemol and AOL sign an agreement to co-produce reality shows for the Internet
AOL and Endemol USA this week closed an agreement to co-produce premium content for the web, especially reality shows and similar formats, initially aimed at AOL's growing female audience. Each series produced between Endemol and AOL will have parallel actions offering new opportunities for sponsors.

These contents aim to improve the user experience by taking full advantage of the interactive and community nature of the website.
“Endemol es un productor de primer orden en espacios sin guión y telerrealidad (unscripted programming) y su experiencia en la creación única de espectáculos interactivos y populares, junto con la audiencia creciente de vídeo de AOL, llevará la producción digital a un paso más allá”, ha comentado David Eun, presidente de AOL Media & Studios.

Entre las primeras producciones que llevará a cabo, destacan Re-Dressed By America, un formato interactivo para web los usuarios deciden en torno a un evento que cambia la vida de un grupo (optando si acudirán a una cita, cómo irán peinados, su vestuario…), y Mamá’s Recipe, en el que familias americanas compiten por presentar las mejores recetas y compartir sus secretos con el público de AOL.

You’ve Got… The video series that debuted with the new launch of AOL.com, generates nearly 8 million views in its first month, featuring guests as diverse as Kelly Ripa, Barack Obama, Matt Damon and the Marines in Afghanistan.
