Tv One, the company specialized in video signal processing, has announced at ISE a series of new products capable of processing 3D signals using its Corio technology.
Steven Mattingly, CEO of TV One, has noted that “the beauty of showcasing this range of emerging technologies is that we are able to engage with potential customers and openly ask them what they want to see or what they want to see in future products.”
Both industry and domestic 3D standards, which differ in signal formats, can operate using the same Corio processing engine, minimizing development and production costs for the end user.
There is also a wide range of possible 3D processing features, including independent scaling of 3D resolutions, transcoding between various types of 3D resolutions for alternative transmission methods, producing 3D images from live video as well as inserting 2D images as floating windows on a 3D video background.
