The UHF Superturnstile Batwing Band IV/V 470–860 MHz antenna hosting NTSC and CCIR channels will be one of Jampro's novelties for NAB 2011. Another novelty will be the RWED-516-U, a compact TV mask/filter combiner, which has an associated cross-sectional design to accommodate channels and comply with the strictest filtering standards.

The Jampro UHF Superturnstile Batwing Band IV/V 470–860 MHz antenna hosting NTSC and CCIR channels will be one of the novelties at the show. It features a structure that has been hot-dip galvanized to ensure long-lasting contact and to ensure reliability at important transportation points, thus providing superior value to current broadcasters. High strength beryllium copper with soldered brass terminal material has been used for the fan hoses and all connections have been screwed. Directional butterfly antennas are available as a custom feature and butterfly antenna reconnect kits are optional.

Also new will be the RWED-516-U, a compact TV mask/filter combiner, which has an associated cross-sectional design to house channels and meet the strictest filtering standards, in addition to providing constant impedance performance for adjacent and channel separations greater than 15. The RWED-516-U provides the same high isolation as traditional constant impedance technology and achieves an elliptical response without external coupling mechanisms. Important dies handle high power with low insertion loss; Their filters correspond to temperature compensated ones for applications that are closely spaced. The RWED-516-U can be expanded to accommodate future channels and is not subject to the bandwidth limitations of standard hybrid technology designs.

On the other hand, the Jampro JA/MS-BB UHF Slot wideband antenna, part of the legendary Prostar line, offers a robust, high-performance “one solution” that has been exhaustively tested for analog or DTV broadcast applications. Compared to purchasing, installing and maintaining multiple antennas, the JA/MS-BB is an affordable alternative. Provides a single compact solution that conserves tower space and minimizes wind loading. It has been specifically designed for multi-channel/combined channel operations in analog-analog, analog-digital or digital-digital TV applications. The JA/MS-BB is supplied factory adjusted and ready to be installed, in addition to having an elegant and aerodynamic design. It can be configured for horizontal, circular or elliptical polarization and has main beam tilt and null filling; The JA/MS-BB can handle powers ranging from 2 to 10 kW. The input impedance is 50 ohms and a VSWR of 1.1:1 or better can be achieved over sub-bands spanning 470-530 to 835-890 MHz.
