On Thursday, May 26 at the ESCAC (Terrassa) and Wednesday, June 1 at the ECAM (Madrid) at the film schools of Catalonia and Madrid, respectively, Sony Professional will present its new NEX-FS100 camcorder.

The directors of photography Luis Pavía and Rafa Roche, respectively, will be in charge of these presentations in Terrassa and Madrid.

The long-awaited NXCAM camcorder with NEX mount and Super 35 sensor marks the foray of the Sony E bayonet mount into the field of professional video, following the launch of the simple NEX-VG10.

It has a Super 35 Exmor-type sensor that offers 3.3 million pixels of effective resolution. In recording, it uses the AVCHD format, being able to capture Full HD video sequences at 50 progressive frames per second and with a maximum data flow of 28 Mbps, using a card slot compatible with MemoryStick PRO Duo, SD Card, SDHC and SDXC as a storage system.

This camcorder is equipped with a 3.5-inch widescreen LCD monitor. In audio, it has two XLR audio inputs with phantom power. On the other hand, it should be noted that its HDMI connection allows you to easily have an uncompressed signal with embedded time code.
