The Institute of Radio and Television of Peru, Channel 7, will make its signal available to the media that wish to broadcast, live and direct, the activities of the central event that will take place on July 7 to celebrate the centenary of Machu Picchu.

The president of the High Level Commission responsible for organizing the event, Ricardo Vega Llona, ​​pointed out that the measure has been adopted to guarantee that all press media, national and foreign, have no limitations in the dissemination of images, since "the capacity of the citadel does not allow the entry of the large number of journalists interested in covering the festivities."

The general manager of Channel 7, Wilfredo Castro, pointed out that the state television station will make available to all national and foreign television media that wish to do so, all of its infrastructure and technology capacity with HD and standard digital signal, “thanks to the government's effort to show the world Machu Picchu and its architectural benefits.”

For his part, the technical manager of TV Perú Channel 7 and responsible for the transmission of the central event, José Aguilar, explained that to guarantee the excellent television signal, three and a half tons of equipment, 10 high definition cameras and 2 cranes of up to 12 meters will be transported to Machu Picchu.
