Digico presents the new versions of “B” software, which, once installed on the SD10 and SD7 consoles, converts these consoles into broadcast sound control tools, with the names SD10B and SD7B.

The SD10 and SD7 consoles, widely used in live sound, can now be applied to studio and mobile broadcast operations thanks to a new version of software from Digico what Meyer Sound presents at Broadcast IT 2011 (stand 3G06). Among other possibilities, they offer “Audio follow video” for up to 32 cameras, Back Stop PFL and auto PFL, SDI inputs and the possibility of unembedding the audio from up to eight SDI inputs, to remix them and then include them again in the desired group.

They also have a 48x6 monitoring matrix, as well as a full 5.1 monitoring matrix, 96 Mix Minus buses; They are also compatible with the new version of Optocore, with the capacity for up to 14 racks and 6 consoles (512 channels in a single loop, and up to two loops with the SD7B).

The SD-Rack, for SD10B and SD7B, presents features such as 192 KHz, function as multi-frequency MADI splits, with compensated gain, “hot” card removal and insertion. We also find a new function that allows inputs and outputs to be distributed between different consoles, with a hierarchical system that prevents the accidental occupation of those channels that are already being used by other consoles.
