Qatari Al Rayyan expands its HD facilities with Harris

In this expansion, Harris has supplied several Nexio servers, along with the ADC playout automation solution and the Invenio media asset manager.

Harris has completed the master control and playout on the Qatari channel Al Rayyan. This privately owned Doha, Qatar-based satellite broadcaster, operated by Creative Media Solutions (CMS), has just expanded its file-based HD facilities.

In this expansion, Harris has supplied several Nexio servers, along with the ADC playout automation solution and the Invenio media asset manager. With this, it has been possible to further streamline the workflows and content management in this broadcaster.

The most recent update, designed by the CMS, has been carried out in a real environment and without any interruption in the broadcast.

The Arabic channel has also incorporated a Harris IconMaster branding and modular control system.
