Emcore will be at IBC 2012 presenting its new products

It will showcase solutions for JPEG 2000 encoding and decoding for IP networks, HD matrices and displays, and a wide variety of extenders for DVI and 3G HD-SDI/HD-SDI/SDI.

Emcore will exhibit at IBC 2012 its JPEG 2000 encoders/decoders for IP networks, matrixes and HD displays, extenders from its Optiva line for DVI, audio, USB 2.0 over CATx and 3G HD-SDI/HD-SDI/SDI extender modules for video, audio and data distribution.

Emcore is providing the next generation of Optiva's advanced, 1080p real-time HD Video over fiber optical extension cards. Since being released in 2011, the OTP-1DVI2A1SU card has undergone several advancements and improvements to be more adaptable and efficient, while continuing to provide real-time, high-bandwidth video over fiber optics for the broadcast and professional audio and video markets.

The OTP-1DVI2A1SU card provides lossless transmission of DVI or VGA video, analog or digital stereo audio, and USB KM (mouse and keyboard) and RS-232 serial data for controlling peripherals over long or short distances, from 0.5 to 70 km. This transmitter-receiver pair is ideal for multi-display, JumboTron, digital signage, medical imaging, graphic design, audiovisual editing, writing, KVM workstations, animation and secure video conferencing applications.
