The SNRT selects AEQ technology to equip 17 new links with its transmitting plants.

The National Radio and Television Society (SNRT, of its name in French Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision), the main public broadcasting of Morocco that manages 9 independent television channels, 4 national coverage radio stations and 10 regional radio channels, has renewed its confidence in AEQ.

SNRT has just selected AEQ Phoenix Studio audiocoders to equip 17 fixed links between their content production headquarters distributed throughout the country and remote transmitting centers. The choice, after a technical evaluation phase, has fallen to the AEQ Phoenix Studio units due to its great flexibility and simple operation, since most of these links are in remote areas and use the most varied connection methods: ADSL, RDSI, X21/V35… as well as the most diverse algorithms (MP2, PCM, AAC, G722, AEQ-LD…) Always for stereo signs.

For SNRT, the unique benefit in the Professional Audio AudioCodecS field on IP with which AEQ Phoenix Studio has, since a single unit allows a single unit to be coding independently in real time a single mono channel, or two mono channels, or a mono channel and one stereo channel, or up to two stereo stereo channels.

Given the importance of the project when developing in many different places in Morocco, and the client since SNRT is a reference within the Maghreb area, AEQ with its local partner Abchir displaced a wide human team led by engineer Luis Hernandez to attend the installation and commissioning phases of the links, as well as supplying operation and maintenance formation courses of the material supplied.
