Yomvi, now also for CINESA viewers
Canal+ and CINESA sign a commercial agreement to bring Yomvi's exclusive content closer to the film exhibition company's viewers. This service will allow you to have a huge online video club.
Canal+ and CINESA (Initiatives and Entertainment Company) have signed a commercial agreement to offer new legal options for online content, making all of Yomvi's exclusive content available to the exhibition company's viewers.
Yomvi is Canal+'s specific offer in the digital environment, which offers Flat Rate (the customer can consume all the movies and series they want that are included in their flat rate), Box Office (they can pay for what they see) and Live TV, all online.
The best cinema and much more, whenever and wherever the user wants. This is the true objective of the agreement signed by both companies, which will allow CINESA users (through www.cinesa.es) in November to access the best Premium content from Canal+ online, through Yomvi. A service that will offer two complementary Flat Rate modalities: CINE/Series Pack through which the client will be able to consume all the content they want, such as the best films, series and documentaries, up to a year before other similar services and without a commitment to permanence; and Pack Liga that will include an extensive football offer.
Along with these two flat rate modalities, new customers will also have the possibility of selecting in the Box Office section what they want to see and only pay for that content, without additional fees, thus accessing the latest movie releases and the best League and Champions League matches.
Yomvi allows you to enjoy well in advance, even several years before the rest of the platforms available on the Internet, a catalog of more than 2,000 titles that includes productions from major studios, independent cinema and the latest in Spanish cinema, along with the most awarded series and the best documentaries.
In this way, CINESA users will be able to see the latest releases that they have not enjoyed in movie theaters and, unlike other services, complement their leisure offering with the best football.
This new agreement is part of Canal+'s strategy of acquiring new online subscribers to its Yomvi service and CINESA's strategy of offering the best video on demand service with great associated advantages, which its customers will be able to enjoy starting this November.
José Batlle, CEO of CINESA and COO for Continental Europe of the UCI group of which the Spanish exhibitor is a part, highlighted that "CINESA has always led technological changes in the exhibition sector in Spain, and with this link with Canal+, it continues to open new doors and horizons in the future of cinema in this country."
For his part, the general director of Canal+, Manuel Mirat, stated that "we are delighted with the signing of this agreement because it represents a strategic advance in the multi-distribution of YOMVI and also unites us with CINESA which, like us, directs its efforts towards technological innovation and digital development."
Access to Yomvi at CINESA
Access is simple. You just have to enter the website of CINESA, and from there, the viewer will be able to access the best catalog of first-run films, series, documentaries and live football, available on the Yomvi service.
Along with this service, CINESA customers will be able to consult the billboard, participate in a multitude of promotions and add points to their Cinesacard cards, which will allow them to benefit from countless advantages in their consumption, including exclusive prizes and discounts for their next visits to the cinema.
The CINESA user will be able to access Yomvi, in the first phase through a PC connected to the Internet, and it will progressively be incorporated into other devices.
