Spanish technology in the latest big 3D blockbuster in India

The stereographic technical part in 'Zapatlela 2 3D' has been carried out by the team of the Spanish company Enxebre Entertainment, which participated in the filming and was responsible for the stereoscopy with 3D personnel and equipment.

Since its premiere on June 7, Download 2 in 3D is sweeping Mumbai (India) with the strongest entry at the box office and excellent reviews from specialized media and the general public. Such has been the success of this production that the distributor has increased the number of exhibition theaters since its premiere.

The stereographic technical part has been carried out by the team of the Spanish company Enxebre Entertainment, who participated in the filming, taking responsibility for the stereoscopy with 3D personnel and equipment. The six-week shoot took place at N.D Studios on the outskirts of Mumbai from October to mid-November 2012.

It is worth highlighting the extreme harsh conditions during filming, with an average of 25 shots per day (all in 3D), reaching peaks of 34 shots in the same day. Given this pace of work, Enxebre (official rental company of 3Ality Digital in Spain) has demonstrated the technical solvency of its team with almost twenty years of experience.

This, in turn, has been the first native 3D film from the PrimeFocus group, responsible for VFX and 2D-3D conversions such as Frankenweenie, Total challenge, Harry Potter o Men in Black 3. PrimeFocus has trusted Enrique Criado, as the stereographer responsible for the project.
