Google Trekker en la Alhambra

Google Trekker en la AlhambraThis week, Google is capturing the beauty of the Alhambra in Granada thanks to its Trekker multi-camera system. Alternative to Street View technology, on this occasion a total of fifteen Android cameras have been integrated into a backpack, an ideal system where vehicles cannot access.

The Arab site thus becomes the second place in Europe, after Venice, to be used by Google's Trekker cameras.

Once the filming is finished, the user will be able to tour in 360º all the corners of this monument, a World Heritage Site since 1984.

Google's Trekker captures images every 2 or 3 seconds offering totally immersive 360º panoramic views. Whether with the help of cars, bicycles, snowmobiles or, as in this case, a backpack, the Street View project has visited more than 3,000 cities in fifty countries since 2007.
