Thomson Broadcast will attend IBC for the first time as part of Arelis Group
Backed by a new corporate structure, Thomson Broadcast will come to Amsterdam with new solutions such as the network monitoring system, Wavetracker.
After purchasing Thomson Broadcast by Arelis Group, the company will attend IBC 2013 for the first time under the new ownership.
Pascal Veillat, president of Thomson Broadcast, acknowledges that "we are looking forward to IBC 2013, the European debut of the new Thomson Broadcast. Backed by a new corporate structure, our goal remains the same: the delivery of expertise and great products, with a total focus on customer satisfaction. At IBC, we will showcase the first of our new products, Wavetracker, a highly versatile network monitoring system."
Wavetracker is designed as a cost-efficient network monitoring system with a dedicated customer support portal. This solution allows you to configure and monitor a Thomson Broadcast transmission network, allowing the operator to supervise, add or replace equipment from their own tablet or smartphone. The system interface allows you to check the status of the network at a glance or access all the information on each of the network elements.
At the Thomson Broadcast stand we will also be able to see the Futhura range of digital transmitters for UHF. These are compact equipment that generate up to 11.6 kW with significant energy (29%) and space savings.
As for AM transmitters with DRM capability, the S7 HP stands out, a device designed for intensive use with great simplicity in its operation since it is enough to press a single button to switch between AM and DRM.
