Thomson Broadcast participates in the deployment of the DVB-T/DVB-T2 network in Israel

The Second Authority for Television and Radio, the public body that regulates commercial broadcasting in Israel, had already ordered twenty 100W transmitters from Thomson Broadcast, as well as sixty-three high and medium power GreenPower equipment.

The new repeaters are configured for SFN network operation, increasing coverage in densely populated areas, and all installations operate under a digital network monitoring system by the Israeli administration.

Thomson emitters are ultra-compact and, due to their low maintenance, are especially suitable for emission centers that are difficult to access. Its efficient real-time digital echo canceller guarantees correct reception of the UHF signal indoors and outdoors in dense urban areas, as well as in mountainous environments.
