Clear-Com presenta ICON Connectivity Solutions
It offers a set of communications solutions that link local or geographically distributed intercom systems through Ethernet/IP and/or fiber optic networks.
Clear-Com has presented this Thursday ICON Connectivity Solutions, a set of communications solutions that link local or geographically distributed intercom systems through Ethernet/IP and/or fiber optic networks. This proposal aims to provide secure and reliable connections, offering high performance on common infrastructures and greater cost-effectiveness for scalable multi-system networks.
Simon Browne, Director of Product Management at Clear-Com, admits that "with today's productions increasingly decentralized across multiple locations, the ability to link disparate communications systems and expand voice communications access is highly critical. Whether working in separate buildings within the same area or in different cities across the country or around the world, teams must still be able to communicate seamlessly and in real time across an integrated infrastructure. This has been a growing challenge among our clients with large installations, and offshore or remote studios.”
Browne added that “with the ability to interface with any Clear-Com and third-party intercom system, ICON Connectivity Solutions will facilitate flexible, secure and cost-effective intercom deployments both locally and globally.”
Among these new solutions we find VoICE2 (a four-channel Ethernet/IP interface for audio communications extensions or to remote systems via IP), Concert-Server (offers 144 virtual intercom channels with high connection security and low latency over LAN or WAN), dual fiber channel) and the Eclipse-HX arrays (offer up to 64 connectivity nodes via E-Fib).
