SAE adds three new Icon digital consoles from Digidesign

They will go to the centers in San Francisco, Istanbul and Oxford. SAE has also updated 400 of its Pro Tools 8, including more than 80 Pro Tools HD licenses.

The training center specializing in the audio and audiovisual industries, with a presence in twenty countries, has made a significant investment in Avid solutions, including four hundred updates to Pro Tools 8 (including more than eighty licenses for Pro Tools HD) and three new 32-channel Icon D-Control that will be installed on its campuses in San Francisco, Istanbul and Oxford. With these additions, SAE now has twenty digital Icon consoles in its centers.

Rudi Grieme, general director of SAE, commented that "our students at SAE have access to the numerous production systems that are found in the industry every day. Pro Tools is the industry standard in music production and therefore it is essential that our students have access to the latest and best versions."
