Evertz in IBC 2013Thinking about the migration that the industry is experiencing towards IP environments, Evertz floods its stand at IBC with 10 GbE. In this context, the new 3080IPX, for example, allows content providers a transition to the IP world without compromises. For its part, with Magnum and VistaLink NMS for control and management, the versatile 3080IPX can be used in production, playout and distribution.

In the field of remote production solutions, Evertz CXP encoders/decoders and its ATP media transport platform offer broadcasters a way to improve their remote production without incurring great costs.

CXP provides a codec range for contribution from JPEG2000 to MPEG-2 with high video quality and low latency. JPEG2000 codecs, for example, enable multi-connection 3Gb/s compression using Ultra HD to transport signals over existing 1GE and 10GbE infrastructure from studios to remote facilities.

Evertz CXP4K / Ultra HD

Evertz has introduced a suite with numerous tools for 4K/Ultra HD environments. This suite includes tools for compression, routing, processing/conversion, monitoring and unified control using Magnum.

Its Dreamcatcher replay system has also been adapted to this format, incorporating options such as Mosaic and 4K zoom. Evertz now has two Dreamcatcher systems: an eight-channel 3G/HD/SD, ideal for Ultra HD (4K) and a six-channel one for SD/HD productions.
