Harris appoints Pablo Gargiulo president of World Sales Organization

He will be in charge of a large team led by Chris Ziemer (North America), Nahuel Villegas (CALA), Mathias Eckert (EMEA) and Joe Khodeir and Jishun Mei (Asia).

Harris Broadcast has named Pablo Gargiulo president of Global Sales. Gargiulo will report directly to Charlie Vogt, president of Harris Broadcast, and will be responsible for leading a newly created global sales organization, spanning 140 countries and 3,000 clients. Organized into four customer-facing regions North America, Central America-Latin America (CALA), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and South Asia-North Asia (Asia), the new organization will strengthen the company's strategy based on four pillars: media, networks, playout and transmission.

In this work, Gargiulo will be accompanied by Chris Ziemer at the head of the North American region, Nahuel Villegas (CALA), Mathias Eckert (EMEA) and Joe Khodeir and Jishun Mei (Asia).

Gargiulo cuenta con una experiencia de más 25 años en el sector de las telecomunicaciones, MSO y tecnología. Recientemente fue director de Operaciones y Vicepresidente Ejecutivo de Xtera Communications, una compañía especializada en transporte sobre fibra. También ocupó varios cargos estratégicos con anterioridad en Genband , Tekelec, Taqua , KTI y Kao Infosystems.

Gargiulo se graduó summa cum laude en Electrónica e Ingeniería Eléctrica en la Universidad Nacional de San Juan (Universidad Nacional de San Juan – UNSJ ) en Argentina .
