DirecTV will launch a new broadcast center in Colombia in 2014
In its startup, DirecTv will invest about one hundred million dollars.
Coinciding with the World Cup in Brazil, DirecTv will have a new broadcasting center in Colombia, in whose implementation approximately one hundred million dollars will be invested.
The platform has recently won an open 30 MHz block and a reserved 40 MHz block in Colombia for 37.7 and 41 million dollars, respectively during the 4G spectrum auction in Colombia.
We want to continue growing and give a different television experience to our customers. The integration of distribution media such as satellite, fiber optics and 4G will focus DirecTv's growth strategy in Colombia, increasing the current 18% share they have in the country.
