The iCity centre, home of BT Sport, installs five Yamaha CL3 consoles
BT Sport has five Yamaha CL3 digital consoles in order to offer the highest audio quality in its sports productions both for television and online.
The former IBC in the London 2012 Olympic Park now houses the new iCity production centre, from which the sports channel BT Sport is broadcast.
Five CL3 digital consoles of Yamaha, helping to offer the highest audio quality in sports productions for both television and online.
The installation and tuning has been carried out by one of the main British integrators, Megahertz Broadcast Systems, a company that opted for the five Yamaha CL3 digital consoles as the heart of the audio treatment at BT Sport.
The production center includes three large studios with full production flows, plus four smaller production rooms, all linked to a master control room, which oversees a large number of lines entering and exiting the center.
Megahertz has a habit of carrying out custom installations with a solution for each project, so in this case, the company opted for the five CL3s in the smaller production galleries and master control.
Steve Hope, of Megahertz, highlighted that "we chose Yamaha for their competitive price, delivery and integration with Dante networks. Through a MADI interface they also allow BT Sport to connect to a Snell Sirius 850 hybrid matrix and access the available sound layers."
Además, la calidad de audio de las CL3s ha contribuido a que la audiencia de BT Sport disfrute de la mejor experiencia en audio, mientras que el tamaño compacto de estas consolas ha conseguido un ahorro importante de espacio en las instralaciones.
