LG increases the catalog of applications on its Smart TVs with the online television service in director and on demand from Canal+.

LG and Yomvi

LG Electronics has expanded the content of the 2013 range of Smart TV televisions with Yomvi, Canal+'s offer in the online environment that offers live television and video on demand.

The new service will allow you to access Yomvi through simple and intuitive navigation and using LG's Magic Control remote, which allows you to navigate the application as if it were a wireless mouse. Users will find in YOMVI an offer that includes the best League and Champions League football, flat rate movies and series with titles a year earlier than other operators, in addition to the Box Office service for whatever they wish to purchase, under the pay-per-view modality, without the need for any prior subscription.

The development of this application is part of the agreement signed by both companies, with the aim of integrating CANAL+ audiovisual content on LG Smart TVs.

From the LG Smart TV menu, the Yomvi icon will lead to the new multi-offer application, whose development contemplates the different commercial options available. Access to this new service will be free for Canal+ subscriber customers, who will be able to enjoy up to 27 live channels, the latest VOD (video on demand) premieres at a flat rate and the Movie, Series and Football Box Office, while new Yomvi customers will be able to access a series of flat rate packages (cinema, series, football...) as well as the Box Office service (pay per view) with more than 1,000 movie titles, series, documentaries and programs, as well as Copa del Rey and BBVA and Champions League matches.
