I-Movix will debut a completely redesigned range of its X10 ultra slow motion systems at NAB 2104. The new product line stands out for its modular configurability as it will allow the creation of solutions to satisfy any production scenario.
Using any Phantom Vision Research camera in conjunction with the X10 modular system can be configured to prioritize the use of ultra slow motion in sports coverage, or its use in continuous super slow motion non-stop productions. A modular configuration will also allow the operation of several high-speed cameras controlled from a single CCU
This I-Movix initiative will extend the product life cycle and the return on investment, since any X10 modular system can be combined with separate elements, so it will only be necessary to update the technology of any of the chosen modules.
Laurent Renard, CEO of I-Movix, said: "This fundamental reinvention of the
This family of solutions will be as follows: X10 USM, developed for very high frame rate applications in sports environments (up to 2600 fps at 1080i, or 5600 fps at 720p); X10 Spine, which supports the same frame rates, but adds operational flexibility to allow use in non-broadcast environments; X10 SSM, for use as a conventional HD broadcast camera with the ability to work non-stop super slowmo at 300fps (1080i) or 600fps (720p); and X10 multi, an X10 multi-camera system for advanced sports production.
Fully integrated for live production, I-Moviz proposals are easily manageable by any camera equipment with high image quality and resolution.
