Ikegami will debut its new UHK-435 4K HDR camera at IBC 2017
The new UHK-435 is an Ultra High Definition 4K HDR studio camera with a 2/3-inch 3-CMOS sensor.
Ikegami will debut at IBC 2017 a new addition to its Unicam XE camera family. The new UHK-435 is a 4K Ultra High Definition camera designed for use both in the studio and in outdoor broadcasts, the camera supports B4 or OB bayonet lens mounting. It offers a wide dynamic and color range, fully supporting HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) in accordance with the international HDR standard (ITU-R BT).
Unicam It is noteworthy that the scope can be placed close to the extended line of the optical axis. Additionally, interfaces will be available for a wide range of signal protocols including Quad 3G-SDI, 12G SDI and IP.
HDK-73
With HDR taking center stage, the latest addition to Ikegami's Unicam HD camera series, the HDK-73, launched at NAB 2017, will now have HDR compatibility. The camera, which features F13 (1080i50) high-sensitivity 2/3-inch CMOS sensors offers 1080i or 720p resolution and features a hybrid log gamma HLG for HDR imaging. This new feature means that it is now possible to record a scene with high dynamic range without losing gradation in the highlights.
Other news is a new 12G-SDI interface option for the CCU-430. The new 12G-SDI interface allows for greater flexibility by supporting 3G-SDI, simultaneous output and VoIP, enabling higher resolution, frame rates, color fidelity and future trends for 4K systems.
As for the Ikegami HQLM-3120W 4K monitor, it is equipped with two 12G-SDI and standard input channels for efficient setup with 4K equipment, such as cameras and mixers.
At IBC, the manufacturer will also show two new monitors in the HD 60 series, the HLM-1760WR and the HLM-960WR. The HLM-1760WR is a space-saving 17-inch video monitor with low power consumption, wide critical viewing angle, excellent brightness and contrast, fast response time and faithful color reproduction. Using a Full HD (1920×1080) panel with LED backlighting, it incorporates SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI (HDCP) and VBS multi-format inputs as standard. The HLM-960WR is a compact and affordable solution for various broadcast monitoring applications. The new addition is a 9-inch multi-format monitor with Full HD LCD panel (1920x1080) and LED backlighting available with 3G-SDI input as standard.
Ikegami will also show a prototype of its new 4K HDR monitor and a 4K POV camera for robotics studio operations.
