Canon has organized its first day on personal branding and video recording in Madrid, led by two image professionals: Javier Manzaneque and Nacho Martín. Javier Manzaneque, professional in the audiovisual world and expert in personal branding in video, has explained the importance of having a well-built personal brand. Manzaneque has pointed out some of the advantages that video provides for the creation and development of the personal brand, such as providing greater attractiveness to what we want to show and the ability to generate greater trust and credibility. The video, according to Manzaneque, “transmits emotions, which leads to greater virality of our creations.”

Next, he explained some of the mistakes that must be avoided when recording videos aimed at professional positioning. "The first of them is not to be yourself. When recording yourself on video, it is essential to transmit naturalness, spontaneity. You simply have to believe in yourself and your possibilities," he says. He has also pointed out that another common mistake is not having the appropriate technological devices; “It is essential to have 2.0 tools and give the importance they deserve to elements such as lighting, sound, image stability or HD quality,” he adds.

Finally, he has shown how any personal brand development project must start by “knowing the audience you are addressing, defining the language and platforms from which you will do it, establishing specific objectives at a qualitative and quantitative level and deciding what technological means you will have, both from capturing the image (with the Legria Mini X) to the final phase, editing.” Canon Legria Mini
