A&E comienza las grabaciones de ‘Be Bike’, el primer factual en España sobre el mundo de las biciletas

Produced together with El Terrat, the series delves into the day-to-day life of Barceloneta Bikes, an original shop-workshop full of personality.

El canal de televisión A&E, que se lanzó en España el pasado octubre, ha iniciado las grabaciones de Be Bike, his first own production.

The series, which will premiere exclusively on the channel in the coming months, shows the world of two wheels from a unique perspective through incredible bicycle transformations and the stories hidden behind them.

Produced together with El Terrat, Be Bike follows the day-to-day life of the Barceloneta Bikes shop-workshop and its team led by Tony Valcárcel, creator of this establishment full of personality. There they sell, repair, rent, manufacture and restore all types of bikes, always under the same premise: doing it in a personalized way.

Carolina Godayol, directora general de The History Channel Iberia, reconoce que “desde A&E estamos muy ilusionados con este proyecto junto a El Terrat, una productora cuyo contenido es sinónimo de calidad y prestigio. Con esta nueva serie mostraremos en exclusiva las historias que esconde el inexplorado, hasta ahora en televisión, mundo de las bicicletas. Esta manera de transportarse, de viajar y de encontrarse, además de ser un deporte, es realmente una auténtica y original forma de vida, que está transformando el panorama de las principales ciudades del mundo. Queremos acompañar a la audiencia a descubrirlo”.

Throughout 6 chapters, the team Be Bike You will have to build a customized ultralight fixie, restore a classic model from the 60s or build an electric bike to be able to carry a complete music system, among other challenges.
