ChyronHego introduces CAMIO 4.2, a significant enhancement to its award-winning graphic asset management product Camio. Camio 4.2 features a complete redesign of LUCI, the modular interface for graphics production solutions in news writing systems (NRCSs), with compatibility across the entire ChyronHego product range.
Together with Camio 4.2, LUCI offers a modular interface for producers to realize graphics in any NRCS. From the LUCI content library, users can produce templates from any ChyronHego graphics solution, including Lyric, PowerClips, Gs2 Multi-Touch or Metacast, and then play the graphics on any device or robotically.
In addition, it has been redesigned based on HTML5 for more powerful and flexible interfaces for PCs, MAC and tablets, allowing producers to write news from anywhere. LUCI has new features that allow you to share and reuse content, templates, MOS objects, images or cinema between stations or between stations in a workgroup. Producers can receive notifications of any new orders, maps or charts that have been supplied and are available, and can also view the status of pending orders and maps.
Channel Box Prime
ChyronHego today introduced Channel Box Prime, a major new release for Channel Box, the company's popular channel branding system, which has been redesigned for the 64-bit environment. Channel Box Prime, which includes a new, dedicated and completely revamped rendering engine and scene creator, is fully focused on channel branding and playback requirements.
Channel Box Prime is a native 64-bit application, including 13 languages. Featuring a completely revamped rendering engine based on ChyronHego's exclusive GS2 technology, Channel Box Prime includes powerful improvements to creative freedom and performance. An example would be Warp Effects, a never-before-seen special effect that integrates with industry-leading third-party modeling and rendering tools such as Adobe's After Effects or Autodesk's 3ds Max. Warp Effects allows users to create effects in After Effects or 3ds Max and bring them into Channel Box Prime, where they can place replaceable live information in graphics. For seamless data transmission, Channel Box Prime offers a full complement of automation interfaces, including PBUS, VDPC, Intelligent Interface and UDP clients.

Cloud production
VidiGo has unveiled a world-first cloud-based live multi-camera production workflow at IBC 2015. They showcased the first streaming multiviewers and streaming-controlled User Interfaces for their live TV production workflow based on their software, called VidiGo Live. With ultra-low latency, remote live production now becomes a reality. This new innovative technology will change the landscape of outdoor broadcasts, regional television channels and the recording of sporting events.
The technology is quite similar to the latest innovations in the gaming sector, such as OnLive Game Service, recently acquired by Sony. VidiGo has developed similar technology, optimizing it for the demanding broadcast sector. VidiGo has created streaming proxies, with complete control of latency, bandwidth usage and image quality, creating a workflow that is perfectly suited to television production.
