Monitoring for color: a key issue in 4K and UHD environments

NEC organizes a conference in which the usual configuration settings for a monitor or real monitoring scenarios for audiovisual color will be analyzed.

Next October 22, NEC Display Solutions Ibérica, with the collaboration of Tangram Solutions and 709 Media Room, organizes an Open House on Monitoring for color in 4K and UHD cinema.
Throughout this day, aspects related to the usual configuration settings of a monitor for audiovisual color will be presented, such as gamut, brightness, contrast, gain per channel, color temperature, gamma...

Real monitoring scenarios for audiovisual color will also be analyzed: Rec 709 vs p3 for DCI color, Gamma 2.2 vs 2.6 for DCI color, Rec 709 vs BR 2020 in UHD, contrast ratio vs brightness level, brightness level for monitoring in the room and film set; and legal and extended range according to destination.

Attendees will receive the 4K Guide edited by 709 Media Room for free.
