The FIA ​​and the FOM award Canal F1 Latin America the award for the best F1 channel of the season

The distinction from the highest governing body of world motorsport and the holder of the commercial rights of Formula 1 comes just nine months after the launch of the channel.

Canal F1 Latin America has been awarded by the FIA ​​(International Automobile Federation) and the FOM (Formula One Management) with the award for the best Formula 1 channel of the automobile season, a recognition that comes in the same year of the channel's birth.

The channel has obtained this trophy in its first months of existence and in a category in which some of the most prestigious networks on the international scene compete with extensive experience and experience, such as SKY Sports, BBC, NBC, Canal+ France, Univisión or RTL, among others.

This recognition comes after on March 1, Mediapro launched the first channel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year dedicated exclusively to motors for all of Latin America. Once the season is over, it can be said that the results of the channel have been satisfactory after the first nine months of life. In addition to being one of the winners on a stage in which awards are given to the best of the season, Canal F1 Latin America is present today on up to 13 operators, reaching 7 million homes in Latin America.

Canal F1 Latin America has been the only channel that has broadcast all the Grand Prix of the Formula 1 World Championship live and in HD for Latin America with free practice and qualifying exclusively. Other competitions such as GP2, GP3, Porsche Supercup or TCR have also been seen on the channel, as well as 13 programs that are the best complement to the live events.
