Javier Olivares presents 'The Ministry of Time' at the FIPA International Festival in Biarritz

The series produced by TVE and Onza Entertainment will also soon participate in the Luchon Festival and the INPUT 2016 in Calgary.

The fantasy and adventure series of TVE The Ministry of Time was presented this weekend at the FIPA International Festival of Audiovisual Programs in Biarritz. This is the 29th edition of the contest, a meeting place for more than two thousand professionals in the audiovisual sector: producers, directors, scriptwriters and executives of television networks from around the world.

The FIPA committee selected the series for the section Focus Spain, in which other productions with Spanish themes or production will be shown, coinciding with the appointment of Donostia-San Sebastián, a city very close to Biarritz, as European Capital of Culture.

Javier Olivares, creator of the series, was in charge of presenting the series at the Bellevue Auditorium.

The Ministry of Time It is receiving a great reception at international audiovisual production festivals and meetings. The series was also selected for INPUT 2016, which will be held next May in Calgary (Canada), for responding to the criteria that drive this meeting of professionals and researchers interested in a television model with risky, innovative and public service programs.

Producida por RTVE en colaboración con Onza Entertainment, la serie estrenará en breve su segunda temporada, que contará con 13 capítulos en los que la patrulla cruzará las puertas del tiempo para resolver nuevos errores que podrían cambiar el curso de nuestra Historia. El Cid, Cervantes o Napoleón serán algunos de los grandes personajes históricos con los que se encontrará en sus viajes. Ciencia ficción, drama, comedia, historia… son algunos de los ingredientes de la serie creada por Pablo y Javier Olivares (Cliffhanger) y protagonizada por Aura Garrido, Rodolfo Sancho, Nacho Fresneda, Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, Juan Gea y Jaime Blanch.

Dirigida por Marc Vigil, ha recibido desde su estreno numerosos galardones, como el Ondas a la mejor serie española del año; premio de la crítica del FesTVal de Vitoria a la mejor Ficción de 2015; Gold Panda Award al mejor director para Marc Vigil; premio ALMA al mejor guión otorgado por el sindicato de guionistas; premio Twitter del FesTVal de Murcia, premio Zoom a la mejor serie española del año y premio MiM Series a la mejor serie del año.
