Peter Heath will lead PLASA

Heath joins PLASA from Roland where he held various senior positions over the past two decades.

Peter HeathThe Professional Lighting and Sound Association (PLASA) has appointed Peter Heath to lead the association from next Monday, April 11. With a long career and experience in sales and management Heath joins PLASA from Roland where he held different positions of responsibility over the last two decades. Since 2014 he headed the Pro AV division at Roland Europe Group.

Peter Heath knows perfectly well the operation and structure of PLASA as he has been a member of the association since 2006 representing Roland.

Ed Pagett, PLASA president, said he was delighted to have Heath on board as he “will bring a wealth of experience and fresh enthusiasm to help develop the partnership, with the support of PLASA staff and its board of directors.”

The selection process was carried out independently among PLASA executives with oversight from John Simpson, former Chairman of PLASA's governing body and support from board members such as Peter James (Shure), Mark Surtees (Outback Rigging), PLASA Chief Financial Officer, Shane McGreevy, and Human Resources Specialist, Elaine Pennell.
