Belonging to the LDX family, the new LDX-86 has a 2/3″ sensor with native 4K resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio with full sensor lenses. It uses three 4K Xensium CMOS sensors capable of generating 3820x2160 pixels.

The new LDX will be marketed like its “sisters” under a licensing program, with HiSpeed ​​options with HFR 1x/3x in HD; Xtreme Spped with 1x/3x/6x in HD and 1x/3x in 3G; WorldCam with 3G/HD content in 1080i/720p/1080PsF/1080p; 4K with WorldCam features but with 3820x2160 UHD; and Universe that offers universal and selectable 1x/3x/6x HD, 1x/3x 3G and 1x 4K support.

With the aim of completing its line of production mixers in the compact segment, this proposal is positioned as the “younger brother” of the popular Kayenne or Karrera.

The system is available in 1 or 2 M/E panels, features K-Frame S-Series processing technology, and is compatible with top-of-the-line solutions.

Korona supports multiple HD formats and can easily be upgraded to 3G/4K with a software license purchase. The control panel supports up to 20 assignable buttons on each M/E. Despite its small dimensions, it has a great capacity to route signals with an 80x48 matrix with inputs and outputs in optional IP in SMPTE ST 2022-6 I/O.

In order to offer the market a gass-to-glass solution for processing, routing and monitoring with native IP interfaces, Grass Valley has developed GV Node. This solution aims to cover both routing, IP processing and multi-display in a single compact platform.
