Quicklink Multi TX Xstream Skype

The latest version of the system for receiving and issuing professional video calls from Skype (HD-SDI) TX from Quicklink now offers new possibilities to combine these signals.
Multi TX Xstream is equipped with dual Xeon multi-core processors allowing the management of up to eight bi-directional signals via Skype.

Multiple incoming Skype calls can be queued and the studio can communicate with each caller or a group of callers using the proprietary IFB Quicklink audio return solution. Xstream also offers the ability to insert overlay graphics with labels such as “on air” or a logo. Both IFB functions and graphical insertion can be operated manually or via GPI or API.

The system is designed specifically for live broadcasting with redundancy and recovery capabilities. It has a dual power supply and alert notification control via SMS, SNMP or email.

Quicklink's proposal is optimized to improve call quality including automatic or manual color correction per channel. This is ideal when receiving a video signal via Skype with the interlocutors poorly lit, as is usually the case. Replacing a glitch with a still image with continuous audio priority is another essential feature when using Skype in a professional environment.

The system supports Dante/AES67 and NDI I/O, ensuring seamless workflow integration in an IP environment.
