Blackmagic At the end of the year, it will launch a new accessory for its Cintel scanners that will allow reading the code in the frames and detecting optical audio.
This option will allow you to track the code of each frame of a movie. On the other hand, although Cintel devices have the ability to process audio tracks over fiber optics, in order to recover sound after the initial scan, Blackmagic has included a real-time optical audio detection function.
The new Cintel reader will be compatible with 16 and 35mm film codes and allows access to them from DaVinci Resolve. Likewise, it will be capable of processing fiber optic audio signals integrated into these films, making it possible to recover sound during the playback of the film.
