The Film Academy renews its Board of Directors

Yvonne Blake and Judith Colell, ratified as interim president and vice president of the institution until the elections are called.

Cinema Academy HeadquartersThe Board of Directors of the Film Academy ratified this Tuesday in an extraordinary meeting Yvonne Blake and Judith Colell as interim president and vice president of the entity.

Following the resignation of some members of the Board of Directors, made up of two members from each of the fourteen specialties, the director Azucena Rodríguez (replacing Emilio Martínez Lázaro), the special effects technicians Raúl Romanillos and Juan Ramón Molina (replacing Reyes and Óscar Abades), the director of photography Tote Trenas (who has replaced José Luis Alcaine), the editor Iván Aledo (in the position of Guillermo S. Maldonado) and the animator Julio Díez Miguel (replacing Pedro Eugenio Delgado). Both Guillermo S. Maldonado and Pedro Eugenio Delgado have verbally communicated their resignation to the members of the Board of Directors.

The Electoral Commission will approve the calendar for the new elections in the coming days.
