APPA renews its Board of Directors

Audiovisual production professionals elect their new representatives to continue with the association's objectives.

In an event held at the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain, on September 28, the Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals (APPA) renewed its Board of Directors for the next two years. The new Board will be chaired by production director José Jaime Linares. He will be accompanied by Pablo Ramírez (production director) and Pilar Robla (production director) as vice presidents, in addition to the members: Belén Bernuy (production director), Leire Aurrecoechea (production director), Mª José Díez (production director), Aurora Martínez (television production director), Alberto Poveda (production manager), Belén Sánchez (Production manager) and Pilar Pérez (controller).

Among its main objectives is to continue with the purpose of achieving greater professionalization of the sector, from the organization of conferences and courses for partners and, in some cases, open to other audiovisual professionals, as well as staying updated on new technologies that affect the profession, the signing of collaboration agreements with other entities in response to the needs that arise from the sector and its professionals, and with proposals for new projects that contribute to continuing the work of promoting improvements in working methods in the audiovisual sector, as stated. has been doing since its beginnings.

Además, APPA nombró Socio de Honor a Emiliano Otegui por sus “méritos demostrados a lo largo de su carrera profesional dedicada a la producción audiovisual y por haber formado parte de la asociación desde sus inicios”.
