APPA - Board of Directors 2026

The last Ordinary General Assembly of members of the Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals (APPA) has defined the lines of work for 2026 and the approval of various key initiatives for the development of the organization. In addition, the new Board of Directors has been elected for the next two years, in which José Jaime Linares repeats as president.

Accompanying Linares, production director, Aurora Martinez (production director) and Pilar Pérez López (controller) will serve as vice presidents. The Board of Directors is completed with the members Josep Amorós (production manager), Patricia Ordas (1st assistant director), Susana de la Mata Serrano (controller), Antton Zabala (1st assistant director), Ernesto Chao (production manager) and Laia Coll (production director). In addition, they are incorporated as new members Julian Altuna y Elisa Sirvent, both production directors.

The Assembly also approved some modifications to the Statutes and the APPA Internal Regulations. In it digital sphere, the Association highlighted the growth of its platforms: nearly one million visits to its website, more than 22,000 listens to its APPA Podcast, more than 270,000 visits to the Filming Map and a community that exceeds 25,800 followers on social networks. Furthermore, he remembered his free app APPA Productions, a tool aimed at the entire Spanish audiovisual sector with a large database with information from professional technicians, service provider companies, Film Office/Commissions and other entities linked to audiovisual production in all sectors.

Among the main developments for 2026, APPA announced the creation of the The APPA Awards to recognize professionals in the organization of audiovisual production, and the upcoming launch of a new website. On the other hand, new sponsors were welcomed at the event Metameteo y Wifi On Set. With these additions, APPA now has 26 partners.
