BT to showcase its new UHD mobile unit in Amsterdam

Designed and integrated by Megahertz, it is the first vehicle in the United Kingdom capable of transmitting multiple HD and UHD/4K signals via fiber and satellite simultaneously.

BT Media and Broadcast (BT M&B) will present its new mobile unit in Ultra High Definition at the next IBC in Amsterdam.

The new TES52 unit from the BT subsidiary has been designed and built by the integrator Megahertz and is the first vehicle in the UK capable of transmitting multiple HD and UHD/4K signals over fiber and satellite simultaneously. The U.M. It also employs the latest in encoding equipment, which has been specifically designed for high-quality live sports broadcasting.

Con 40 Gbps de capacidad de fibra, permitirá llevar todas las señales de la Premier League al centro de control ubicado en Londres en la BT Tower.
