ATTO demonstrates 32Gb Thunderbolt 3 connectivity for 4K environments at IBC

With Thunderbolt 3 at 32Gb, content producers will be able to achieve high performance rates with the consequent improvement in 4K workflows. ATTO will continue to push 16Gb Fiber Channels, with the introduction of the ThunderLink 3162 and Thunderbolt 3 device. These new devices will allow customers to make the most of bandwidth, with speeds of up to 2,750 Mbps.

ATTO's new Fiber Channel ThunderLink devices offer MultiPath Director for failover and load balancing, with dual ports for redundancy and expanded support; SFP+ modules tested for interoperability; and a simple configuration tool to manage and monitor ATTO Thunderbolt products and HBAs.

At IBC we will be able to see a workstation transporting 4K signals through the Terrablock Facilis solution, with 32GB speed and HBA adapters, through the Fiber Channel switch, in addition to the Lenovo ThinkPad mobile workstation connected to Terrablock through the new ThunderLink 3322.
