Plano a Plano will produce a new comedy for Antena 3

Silvia Abril will star in this new fiction from the producers of the successful 'Allí Abajo'.

Plano a Plano will produce a new comedy for Antena 3 prime time, whose filming is scheduled to begin before 2017. This new project will star Silvia Abril, one of the freshest and most valued faces in the comedy genre.

“We have been developing this project for a long time, just over a year,” explains Sonia Martínez, director of Fiction at Atresmedia. “We want to maintain the level of quality of ‘There Below’, which is giving us so much joy, and develop another comedy that entertains the viewer and that stands out for its notable production.”

Created by Aitor Gabilondo, César Benítez, Juan Ramón Ruiz and Sonia Pastor, this new Antena 3 series has already begun its casting process to complete the cast led by Silvia Abril. The actress will play an enthusiastic mother of a family, happily married and with three daughters, who will enter a peculiar work environment tailored to men.

"We are very happy to work with Atresmedia again. We hope to repeat the success of down there with this comedy in which Silvia Abril will not leave anyone indifferent," says César Benítez, co-executive producer of Plano a Plano. "It is a very careful project that has been matured for quite some time, so we have all the confidence in the world that the public will like it," says Aitor Gabilondo, also executive producer.

Con esta nueva serie, Atresmedia continúa su apuesta por la ficción nacional logrando excelentes registros de audiencia. En la pasada temporada (2015/2016), Antena 3 emitió nueve series diferentes (estrenando tres títulos nuevos) siendo la única cadena en la que todas sus series promediaron por encima de la media del canal.

En este nuevo curso, ya se encuentran en emisión los nuevos episodios de Mar de Plástico, Amar es para siempre y The secret of Puente Viejo. Muy pronto llegará Velvet con su última temporada y, en octubre, arrancará el rodaje de la tercera entrega de Down There.
